A member reported receiving an email that said her SmartHub password was compromised. The link went to another electric cooperative named MVEC but with the dot.com web extension. Our extension is dot.net, and this notification did not come from us. If you receive a similar email, you should change your SmartHub password by opening a new browser session and typing in mvec.net — and don’t click on any suspicious links received in a strange email.
